AMX Galactic Cruiser

Working in downtown Nashville, I find it convenient to not worry about parking (or the price of gas) by taking the bus.  The bus stop I use in the morning is just a couple block downhill from the school and is easy to get to after I drop of the kids.  In the afternoons, that loop runs at odd times and I disembark about a mile from the house and walk.  Yesterday I upped my transit experience by bringing my mountain bike, mostly for the ride home.

Two Wrongs: Smoking Furby

On a whim, I decided to forego an early cigarette Monday morning and instead stared bleary-eyed at the local news.  Then, for some reason, I decided not to take a pack with me to the office.  I really don't have any good reason for why Monday, after nearly a decade since the last time I quit, I decided to stop smoking.

Tiesday

The office I work in has a casual dress code, which makes Casual Friday unnecessary.  Much of the time, I'll wear jeans and a hawaiian shirt.  It's easy and comfortable, but hardly impresses anyone (except, perhaps, the sheer quantity of hawaiian shirts I have).

A few weeks ago, Bill, leader of the Usual Suspects, clued me into a great sale at Macy's, and I picked up a weeks worth of shirts and ties.  I don't have call to get dressed up very often, but I figured having a nice selection on hand wasn't a bad idea.  And it was a great sale.
